Day 10 – Cheeky Pig

Oh yes, it’s a Cheeky Pig!  My first Lilley’s experience was trying a pint of Crazy Goat in a local pub, and that is a 6.8% blend of cider and perry, just like this 7.5% Cheeky Pig in front of me.  So I’m really keen to try this one, especially as it’s medium dry as well.  I have high hopes for this, I think it could well be my favourite in the Lilley’s Cider advent calendar.

Evening

This really was everything I wanted it to be. It was really smooth and still, nice little tang, beautifully balanced between the cider and the perry, and just all round excellent. If I was absolutely forced to choose, I think the Select cider from day 8 just pips this one to the post, but this was very enjoyable. And really smooth, which is especially nice given this is 7.5%, almost double some of the others I’ve had.

Just as awesome as I anticipated  – 5/5.
