Day 6 – Bee Sting Perry

Morning

Just opened up door 6 of my Lilley’s Cider advent calendar, and out came a bottle of 6.8% lightly sparkled Bee Sting Perry.  Now usually I’m not a huge fan of perry, as I’m not really a fan of pear, but I was hoping that this would be one of the 24.  It’s supposedly one of their most popular, so I did want to try it – now I’m looking forward to this evening…

This is definitely my favourite perry, the best one I’ve ever tasted. It was every bit as refreshing as the reviews said, and paired very well with the chilli that I happened to be having for dinner tonight. However, I’m still not convinced – I’d still choose cider over perry.

Surprisingly good, for a perry – 4/5.
